Thursday January 22

Sunday night those of you at Bono will be in for a real treat. Tony Sauser will be the guest speaker while Richard is out. Tony is one of my favorite classroom and pulpit speakers. His knowledge of the Bible is great and his lesson this week will be challenging to everyone there.

He sat down with me last night and briefly told me what he was going to talk about and his epiphany about the subject matter as well. It is excellent. I urge you to be there. The lesson will come from Luke chapter 4 starting in verse 14. The story of Jesus being rejected in Nazareth. Please read it ahead of time and then listen to his insight on the subject. What he is going to say will make you think and I am sure more than one of you will be squirming in your seat wishing he would change the subject because it will be hitting you right between the eyes. Tony and I both agree about what he has to say and both of us said that it applies to us today in a great way. The words of this passage may have been spoken over 2000 years ago, but they are every bit pertinent today. Go listen Sunday and if I am wrong come back to the blog on Monday and let me have it!

I think you missed your calling. You should have been a salesman. HA HA I agree about your thoughts concerning Tony and I WILL be there on Sunday night.

He'd just better not be too good. I'll quit asking him to fill in and cancel all my future surgeries. Really, I said it before in a bulletin, Tony is really just a preacher in overalls chewing on a piece of rice straw.

Oh, and am I glad I'm well enough to be there to hear him!
